Breakfast was badly organized, not impressed
Overall, the hotel was obviously very clean (as it was brand new), location was good (though the taxidrivers did not know it) and the surroundings were good (next to St. Paulīs). However, some things were annoying: the a/c was quite loud, and I could not find any way to adjust it. Fire-alarms in the room ceiling (?) made strange noises at night etc. The worst thing was breakfast - no one seemed to know what they were supposed to do. We had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated, the tables were dirty, no coffee or tea coming. The staff was not up to their tasks. Lobby bar was expensive, and the drinks were small ( I donīt know if this is the British way..) Bad connection or no connection for mobile phones in rooms! Wlan was poor in the lobby. Pricey but not worth it.

Very nice, modern hotel
Very nice hotel across the street from St Pauls. Very modern decor. Nice bar. Breakfast very expensive, about $43, but then everything in London is expensive. Several coffee shops within a couple of blocks. We usually went to the West End for dinner; did not see anything that interested us near the hotel. Maybe 150 meters to nearest Underground station, but we found that buses (#11 & 15) right out the door met most of your needs - Tower, Charring Cross, Piccadilly, Paddington during the day; the West End theater district at night. Get an Oyster card and you get unlimited bus trips for Ģ3.30 per day. Only a short walk across the Millennium Bridge to the Tate Modern.

Grange St. Paul great experience
Although a bit expensive (due to its location), I can highly recommend this hotel. The facilities were excellent, and the staff service was outstanding. I was particularly impressed with the senior concierge, who helped me with arrangements before, during, and after my stay.
