Great option in Knoxville
The Hampton in downtown Knoxville is within walking distance of all downtown locations and parking is free. The breakfast was fine, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the beds were very comfortable.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Check out the Farmers Market on Saturday morning. When we were there, a group of young musicians was playing jazz. Market Square is lovely..be sure to visit Bliss and Bliss Home for a unique shopping experience.

Nice stop on way to Myrtle Beach
We stopped for 4th of July in Knoxville on our way to Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed our stay there for the night. The Worlds Fair Park was a short walk and there was an awesome festival in the park. The fireworks were awesome as well. No major complaints... the A/C was a bit annoying due to the noise, but all else was fine. Indoor pool a bit small and no hot tub. Staff was nice. Breakfast was so-so. For a one night stay, it was overall a good choice.

Great location close to downtown and UT campus. Pretty spacious room and quiet. Close to some good restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
