Lovely
We were impressed with the hotel - small, pleasant, private, great area. We were a little nervous not to be in the old city, but we had never been to Istanbul... It’s within 30 or so minutes walking (which we like to do) or a cheap cab ride. The area is very safe and cool - shopping, restaurants and some decent nightlife, although we had a hard time finding places during the day to have an alcoholic beverage

If you like to shop this is a great area, both boutique-y and upscale, with a few outdoor restaurants and great walking area.

Beautiful Hotel
Our room at the Sofa Hotel exceded our expectations.The staff was always polite and helpfull.We would stay there again on our next visit and I would recommend it highly.

Dining in the area near the hotel was exspensive, walking a few blocks away from that area you will find more reasonable restaurants.
