Too close to campus?
Would that explain the poor condition? Shower was horrible. Why was it horrible? Shower head was clogged and the surround dirty with slow drain. Why would a room seem so stuffy in late September in Wisconsin? Ventilation was really poor.

really beautiful
I am very particular about the cleanliness of the hotels I stay in. This Hampton was absolutely beautiful, well maintained, gorgeous new bedding. Even the pool was clean and warm and had plenty of clean, fresh towels. I will definately stay there again.
