just ok
The location is excellent, and the housekeeping was also good. Breakfast was not complimentary, and that really annoyed me- I had double checked that and on another of their websites as well. They wanted 10 euro for breakfast- no way- go to a nearby Patisserie! It was also noisy at night. The neighborhood is colorful- close to the red light district so lots of people up until all hours. I didn’t feel unsafe- but didn’t go out late at night either. The front desk did speak English and were friendly. The metro was right up the street and it was an easy location for moving around the city.
Traveler's tip on dining
Rue de Abbesses is nearby with lots of restaurants and food shops. We bought croissants the night before for breakfast in the morning. A few good fromageries nearby too- try some cheese with a baguette for a snack, or cheap dinner. I was surprised how pricey dining out was.

Decent hotel
The room was a decent size and clean. It was comfortable and well maintained. The only problem I experienced was the rudeness of the staff. Most of the staff were great but there was one man who was very pushy with trying to get us to book expensive events and very rude when we declined.
Traveler's tip on dining
The restaurant right down the street from the hotel on the corner called Le Deux Theatres was amazing. Excellent food and wine, with a nice champagne starter. Definitely on the pricey side but excellent for the value and for a special night out.

Trinite Plaza
Overall, nice hotel. Small in comparison with hotels in the US. No air conditioning, so I recommend for early spring and early fall, but not in the summer. Good location near the Moulin Rouge - but I guess that part of town is the only part where the city is not flat...so, if would dont mind walking up and down hills, you’d be ok. All in all, I would stay there again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
By the bus carnet (ten ticket for 11 or so euros). These tickets are good for the bus or subway. Best way to get around town - besides walking.
