It’s all in what you’re expecting...
If you’re the type who wants to spend a lot of time in your room and be really comfortable...this hotel is probably not your cup of tea. But if you’re looking for a cheap place to keep your stuff and get some sleep at night, this hotel is amazing! For the price we paid, (special deal) it was shocking. Pretty good buffet breakfast in the morning, our own balcony, air conditioner, 3 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from a big supermarket with cheap food, and a pool as well...quite a deal. The town is amazing, we were there in late May and were practically the only ones on the beach despite the good weather! There’s a great walking path which goes all the way to Malaga and is great in the evenings. Loved it. Bus 160 from Malaga (either Alameda transfer or Muelle Heredia stop, bus 19 from the airport also stops at Alameda Transfer) only costs 1Euro, takes about 25 minutes and stops just a few blocks from the hotel and runs about every 20 minutes.
