The Worst...
My husband and I stayed at the Ascot Apts before and after a Baltic cruise. We stayed one night before taking the cruise. It was the worst night we have spent in a hotel and that includes a night at a truck stop motel... Plus, because it was a single night we paid a premium price for all this misery. The room faced the street and we did not sleep at all after traveling 24+ hours to get to Copenhagen. We spoke to the Front Desk manager and told her that our night was from the dark side and begged her for a quiet room for our 3 nights following the cruise. We returned after a wonderful cruise - a bit apprehensive to say the least. Well - the first 2 nights were ok - still a bit of noise but we did get some sleep. Although one of the pull out couches was broken and the other one might have suited a child-sized person - but not me... Our third night was another no sleeper - right before our 24+ hour journey home. I am warning you - do not choose this place. You will not be a happy camper. You have been warned...

Great location
The apartments were very centrally located, within easy walking distance of City Hall, Tivoli and the Stroget, with a great selection of restaurants and bars close by. We opted to include breakfast, which was very good and ended up being great for us as it made for a quick and convenient start to the day as it was served in the hotel right next door. The staff was very friendly, but were unable to address an issue with the TV remote, so we had problems with the TV. We also had a clogged sink in our kitchen. The rooms were very large, bright and comfortable and it was nice to have the extra room to unwind at the end of the day.
