great location
This hotel is in a great location. There is a HSBC bank(everyone can exchange their money), souvenir shops, travel agency(across the street), you can catch (local)microbus (across the street), 15min walking from Luxor station, 10min walking from Luxor temple and the ferry to get to west bank. Their break fast was good and one of the waiter guy was really funny... friendly. Their big back yard was very beautiful and nice. I stayed 3 nights here and it was the first stays in Egypt. I didn’t take a tour so for me, close to the everything was more than great.
almost everyone who is trying to help you wants money. period. so whoever you don’t wanna get bother just simple do not talk at all. even one word.

If you are in Luxor to see the temples
My stay at the Iberotel Luxor included a suprisingly "plain Jane" hotel room and a lack luster lobby which definitely appeared to cater to tour groups. The staff was curtious and the breakfast buffet was suprisingly good with an excellent choice of selections. It is situated right on the Nile, with a nice garden patio bar, but the best feature of the hotel was it is extremely well located and within easy walking distance of Luxor Temple and the ferry landing to the West Bank.

Wonderful Service for a lightning fast trip
We definitely enjoyed our very short stay at the Iberhotel in Luxor. We came in on a 7:00 A.M. flight and left the next evening at 8:00. When we arrived to drop off our bags, the desk clerk offered to do a quick check of available rooms. Within a few minutes, we had our keys. A short time after that, we were headed to the nearby Luxor Temple. The next morning, we had a varied and delicious breakfast in preparation for our daytrip to the Valley of the Kings. We left our bags at the desk. If I ever got the chance for a longer stay in Luxor, I would definitely return. The garden that slopes down to the Nile is lovely and relaxing. The staff was pleasant and friendly.
