EXCELLENT HOTEL - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - QUIET ROOM
This Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Wilder, Kentucky is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, the place was clean and very well maintained. The Hot Tub was very nice and is open till Midnight which was great for us. (The only down side was the Pool was closed for repair - and my partner was disappointed) THE ROOM WAS QUIET!!!! The breakfast was delicious and adaquate including Eggs, Bacon & Sausage as well as a Do-it-youself Waffle Iron. Along with Boiled Eggs & fresh Fruit and Juices. Coffee was good. Our Room was very comfortable and the view was beautiful - very peaceful and serene. The King sized Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the use of it. I plan to stay here again, on my return trips to the area. I was totally satisfied! (Can you tell?) ;-)
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Only minutes to Wal-Mart, Meijer’s and good Restaurants including a Waffle House about a mile. Go to "NEWPORT" and visit the Shopping center and the Aquarium. We spent a whole day there and really enjoyed the atmosphere. That night we ate "on the water" at Joe’s Crab Shack and we had a wonderful view of the Cincinnati Sky Line! The Movie Theater next door was nice. The Dairy Queen would be a nice treat for those who enjoy it.

Worth the Money
Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfasts in the morning were much more than donuts & coffee. All areas were kept clean and neat. Definitely not a Ritz or Radisson, but an excellent family hotel.

Great place to stay
We were very happy with this hotel and it’s staff. Everyone one was very helpful and the hotel is very clean. The morning breakfast set up was very good and well maintained. I stay at this hotel every time I am in the Cincinnati area.
