A Great Place to Stay for Business or Pleasure
I stayed at Britt Scripps while I was in San Diego for a convention. I wanted to stay out of the downtown Convention Center area, hoping for a more relaxed and personal atmosphere. The staff at Britt Scripps is so wonderful, I felt as if I were staying with friends. The hot, cooked-to-order breakfast was a great start to my day. My colleagues were jealous of my "to-go scone" that the chef often packed for me to enjoy with my coffee breaks! The restored Victorian is located adjacent to Balboa Park, providing a peaceful atmosphere within the city. I found the almost 2-mile walk to the convention center a great start to my day, but downtown could also be reached quickly by taxi. The butlers are in-house and immediately available by phone 24 hours a day. Rooms each have a theme, and vacant rooms are left open for exploring. Amenities included robes and towel warmers in addition to high-end toiletries and linens. When I return to San Diego in the future, it will be to the Britt Scripps Inn.

Wonderful Staff
Not only was the inn itself a gem - amazing details in the decoration of all the rooms, but the staff was terrifically friendly and accomodating. We got into SD early and dropped our bags off and walked around town for a couple of hours. An "unfortunate incident" with a seagull meant we needed to change - fast! The concierge at BS took care of cleaning all our yucky clothes and got us settled calmly and with no fuss. Everyone was equally solicitous throughout our stay.

hello there, Britt Scripps Inn is the best hotel i have seen ,i loved it alot thats hotel remineded me to the unique and old like before 100 years and the services are v. good i likeed to return back and stay a month if i had wok there but i dont like the breakfast everery things excellent. thanks
