Alittle touch of paradise
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. It is a very quiet Adults only hotel, the rooms are very well furnished with every feature that you require. We had a poolside room and to be able to open yor sliding door to a balcony and from there just slide into the pool was great. The owners treat you quite royally and will do everything they can to make your stay more pleasant, from booking tours to arranging transport from Cairns Airport and return.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
this hotel is close to the action, it is only 50 yds to the main shopping area and 400 yds to 4mile beach and a short 5minute stroll to the marina. Everything you could ask for is at your fingertips and everybody is so friendly. The perfect place to stay.

Great place to stay
The Meridian was a very nice place to stay while in Port Douglas. The staff was very helpful and the location is ideal - one block from town and two blocks from the beach. Everything worked well and the units were well provisioned and quiet. We had a very enjoyable time, would use this hotel again, and recommend it to others.

Simple but elegant apartments!
Simple but elegant apartments! And the people there were very kind to us. I and my wife could enjoy our great holidays easily with their help, for example, arrangement of return shuttle bus to Cairns, reservation of various tours, information of good-taste restaurants and how to get fresh prawns at a low price, etc. We hope to stay the hotel again.
