Just terrible
After spending 2 hours trying to find the place we arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant closed and we were told that it was too late, even though it was before closing time. We were given a 3 bedded room which looked like staff housing. There was a fan but you could not use it with the lights on - the door to the room was scratched all up - and i realised that they must keep their big dog there. The room just above and adjacent to the restaurant, no help with the bags or offer to help with the bags and had to drag them up a flight of stairs i would have happily paid someone - we could not sleep because management proceeded to eat outside underneith our window till late laughing and having a good time, so we had no privacy to look out and enjoy a quiet night. We could not close the window to shut out the noise because it would have been too hot. It was incredibly disappointing, so be wary. I would definately not recommend it. The people were not nice at all, the room and lack of service so different from the standard listed.
Traveler's tip
If you do go, make sure you take the advice re the directions from the other reviewer and perhaps call to ensure you have a room in a different location than adjacent to the restaurant.

Absolutely stunning location...
Nestled above the hills above Nice this resort in La Gaude offers amazing views and facilities (incl a beautiful pool). The staff is very courteous. The food is great.
Traveler's tip
One thing to note is that even though it maybe 7km from Nice airport its a 30min ride. Works great if you rent a car. If not you will be paying more than 50 Euro just to get to Nice.

Maps are not enough
The hotel is very nice-once you find your way there. It took us 2 hours to find the hotel coming from Nice, there are no signs and the directions you get from either the hotel’s webpage or the European or American version of Mapquest also don’t help/ are inaccurate. Most of the locals we ask for help had never heard of the hotel, we eventually followed the local bus driver who showed us the right turn after which you still go about 2 km through residential area without a single sign! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the difficulties getting there.
Traveler's tip on dining
For a quick dinner, get the pizza from the side of the soccer field and watch the local kids play.
