Nice, clean hotel
This hotel was very clean and had a wonderful breakfast buffet. The location near the airport was also an added feature since we were leaving early in the morning. It is listed as a budget hotel but I can’t imagine what else you would need. The only downside was that you had to pay for parking in a very wide open lot.

Great hotel, bad location
The Thon Hotel Gardermoen is a 15 minute (and ten dollar) bus ride from the airport, from where it is a fifteen minute (and 35 dollar) train ride form downtown Oslo. The hotel itself is cheap to stay in, but this location is a problem for those of us without a car as the only feasible means of obtaining food for a short stay is through exorbitantly-priced pizza or Chinese food delivery. The rooms are nice and well equipped.

EXCELLENT, HOTEL, NEAR AIRPORT WITH SHUTTLE SERVICE
We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The service at front desk was excellent. Breakfast extensive and very good. The hotel was quiet and very clean. We also were able to store our luggage while taking a side trip for 1 week. We used the shuttle service during our stay to reach parts of Oslo, fast train to city & other areas outside Oslo. We would return to this location, plus very convenient to flying in & out of airport.
