Excellent Find
Family oriented resort. Very enjoyable hotel, staff, and amenities. The entire staff were very friendly and most helpful. The overall condition of the hotel and grounds was impressive. Food service was good, although the evening buffet was overpriced. Other food choices were very good value for money. We will stay there again.

Nice Above Average Hotel - Comfortable Stay
BULA! I had a ground level room facing the ocean. I enjoyed the air conditioning in my room and my king size bed. The fresh white sheets were delightful! I found staff very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed dining with an ocean view. They had a small roped off swimming area oceanside. Too small and too shallow, but you can walk a long way up the beach. They had lovely pools, which had chlorine in them, so I stayed out of the pools! Most guests were swimming in the pools!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Enjoy the Bula Bus. I think it was $5.00 to ride all day! The Expensive Dinner Buffet was worth avoiding! Also worth avoiding were the expensive items in the mini fridge in my room!

Sofitel
The hotel was very nice. The only complaint I have is that there were ants all over my room, including the bed. Clearly, they need to do a better job of cleaning the room.
