Screw this place!
Stayed for a few nights, it was the worst customer service I have ever received. Not only were they dumb, but rude as well. In the morning I went down to their coffee and tea area which consists of a pitcher of coffee sitting in the same place you check in, but when I poured myself a glass the guy asked me for my name and room number like I was trying to steal a precious cup haha! Don’t ever stay here this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life!

Good deal
The great thing about the hotel is the location. You can walk to the beach and numerous bars and restaurants within a minute, which is great if you don’t feel like renting a car and driving. If you are driving, parking is a little tight so I could see that being an issue if arriving late. The hotel itself is old and a bit of a dank feel to it but totally adequate. I didn’t use the pool or jacuzzi, but they looked clean and there were plenty of people using them. Only problem I had was the staff didn’t tell me until I was checking out that there was a full kitchen attached to the room that is accessible for an additional cost. Don’t know if I would have needed the kitchen with all the local options for dining but would have been nice to have been informed upon check-in. So if you are going to Pacific Beach to hang on the beach, party at all the local establishments, or gaze at the sunset or the beautiful local women or surfers, I recommend this place for a great price.
