LOVE this place... Perfect location,, great atmosphere.
Our third stay at the Casa was just as great as previous visits. Helpful airport pick up, the owner plotting out sites of interest on the map. Stay here if you want to see the real Palermo. The location is perfect, right off Piazza Kalsa in the heart of the most interesting part of town. The sea is right there, have sea urchin at midnight from the stand, gelato, snails with the after work crowd. The best arrancine in town are around the corner at Bar Touring. Would not stay anywhere else in Palermo!!!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We walked everywhere to all the best spots. Restaurants, churches, shops, incredible markets, the train station etc. It’s the perfect location to start your day ventures from this friendly neighborhood. Don’t want to walk far? Restaurants, fruit stand, coffee bar, pastry shop, mini mart are all within a block of the front door. Walk all over town or pop out for a quick meal, your choice.

This is a total scam. Do not go here!!!!!!
The address given by Expedia takes you to a dark small alley in a dangerous part of Palermo. There is no hotel there and no one answers the door. Our cab driver was afraid to get out of the car. We asked him to take us to the Hotel Jolly where we called the phone number at the Expedia site and 10 minutes later a young woman showed up, told us to get in the car (no room for 3 of us and baggage). She took us across town to a building with a dirty lobby and left us in a one room apartment with no phone, insufficient linen and a shower that flooded. She charged 10 euro for the car ride and left her cel # if we needed to contact her. There were bugs in the room, the place smelled bad and the windows looked out on an interior air shaft. Expedia rates this 3 stars and the websites shows a smiling person at a non-existent front desk. What a joke! Buyer beware.
