Best hotel in Krakow
My husband and I stayed at the Qubus on our recent trip to Krakow. The hotel was wonderful. The free breakfast was wonderful spread. The staff was great and the free water taxi to old town was a plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to Krakow.

this one has problems
This hotel, although modern and airy, is in a terrible location. Not a nice area to walk around in and you need a taxi to go anywhere interesting. Also, we left a silver medallion and chain on the bathroom sink (I saw it and forgot to remind my son) and when we called from Bratislava, our next stop, they could not find it even though we called twice and they said they’d check. Also, beware of the water that comes to the table without a cap. The hotel was clean and there is a lovely busines center for guests, but the elevators get VERY HOT in the summertime. the breakfast is great, but for me, did not make up for the inconvenience or their inability to find the silver medallion and chain.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The local attractions are toward the city center and you’ll need a taxi. If you enjoy walking around and seeing the great nightlife in the square and the museums, stay in a hotel closer to the center of town. No great restaurants near this one and it’s simply not convenient to anything. I found the location depressing, but the inside was very modern and clean.
