An impeccable hotel with great service
I loved my stay at the Mercure Hotel Chamonix Les Bossons. The staff was very helpful, rooms were impeccable and very comfortable. I just have to say that it’s a bit far from downtown Chamonix, and the train station in the town where the hotel is located (Les Bossons) is also not very close. Taxis in the area are ridiculously expensive, so it would be a good idea to have your own wheels to be able to get to the hotel, especially if you are interested in enjoying Chamonix’s legendary attractions such as L’Aiguille du Midim, La Flegere, Le Brevent and la Mer de Glace.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Chamonix area is gorgeous when the weather is good, but if it’s rainy, there is nearly nothing to do. So I recomend to plan your Chamonix trip on the las minute, according to the weather forecast. if you are blessed by good weather, do not miss the Aiguille du Midi and the Amazing Hellbronner cable car all the way to Italy. This is Chamonix’s best.
