Excellent hotel for the price and neighborhood

A nice hotel with very comfortable and clean room (about 30 sq.meter), with a small kitchen and refrigerator. Excellent location, close to several convenience stores, bakeries, restaurants, etc. and about 200 m from the subway station. The price is also excellent.

Very confortable but a bit noisy

A service appartment rather than an hotel. Excellent bed. Very nice space in the room. But near a big road that can sometimes be noisy. Also, no real hall and difficult for business meetings. Can be quite good for a non-business person who doesn’t care that much about road noise (which is not that terrible). If you are lucky enough to be on the opposite side of the main road, then it’s a quite good place. Staff really doesn’t speak well English. But they are somewhat helpful.

Nearest place for shopping is Gangnam. 10 to 12 min’ walk. Or 1 subway station.

Great place if you can speak the language.

It’s like a studio size residential inn. Anything you need you can get at the convenient store which is 30 meters away.　But I hope you’re fluent in the Korean language. Of course the hotel person can speak English enough to check you in, and they are friendly to help you out. However, ask something complicated(like you would ask a concierge）　and you will get "lost in translation". Also there are a lot of local restaurants with great delicacies within walking distance from the hotel, but be sure you can read and speak Korean.

Recommended place for your stay in Seoul

Very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. A little far off from the main tourist attractions, but very conveniently located in walking distance from Korea National University of Education the subway station. An ideal place for business visits and longer stays.

Great location

Provista was a great hotel. The room was spacious. The small kitchen and large fridge was great to store snacks. It is located a few blocks from the subway. There are lots of restaurants within a five block radius. Would definitely stay here again.

Get korean won at the airport or exchange at hotel. Local banks do not take international ATM cards.

This was a great value, the room had all the amenities described, very clean, kind staff and I would definitely stay there again.

Convenient location, near to public transportation and restaurants, excellent service, very clean residence. Good value, especially for a family with a kid or two, it would be a terrific bargain with the by-level loft.

Stay in Provista Hotel.

Provista hotel is ranked 3 1/2 star by Expedia website but it is not a regular hotel. This hotel is recommended for long family/leisure trip. In hotel room, one can wash and iron his/her clothes (as washing machine/iron/stand are provided in all rooms). Please refrain from calling overseas from this hotel as in my recent trip, I was charged around US $ 125/= for one single call that was made at my wife number in UAE. I didn’t make any such long duration call to my wife and later on, after long debate and argument, it was removed from my final bill. Rooms are very clean with free high speed Internet connection and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. This hotel could be recommended for stay in Seoul as it is located in downtown but again, one should refrain from calling overseas. Rest is O.K.

Better take small cabs from hotel to any location in Seoul as they are more economical and cost efficient.

great value for the price, conveniend location

New Hotel, spacious room, comes with kitchenette and washing machine. Great fitness club downstairs, pubs and restaurant close by, Subwaycross within 5 Minutes of walking. From intl. Airport take Express bus to express bus terminal and take subway 1 station to Intl. University of Education. walk 5 minutes to Provista. Night owl: Sub-Zero Ice bar close to Hansung University is fun if you would like to experience an arctic bar feeling. It is 5 C below 0C and everything around is made from blocks of ice. You have a very nice view on Seoul at night from the bar at Jongno Tower close to the nice, touristy area of Insa-dong.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

There are lots of nice mountains around Seoul. So hiking is a nice activity if you have time and look for some exercise, besides you will most likely not meet with any other foreigner.. Bukhansan National park has a very nice hike to a peak - avoid a rainy day - it can get slippery.

Nice, clean hotel.

I stayed at the Provista Hotel for a week on a recent trip to Seoul. The washer/dryer unit located in the room was really convenient. The room also had a fridge. And the hotel had a couple computers for free use on the second floor that were really convenient for checking email and such. The rooms were very clean. Although there wasn’t much to do right next to the hotel, it was a fairly short walk to Kangnam and a very short walk to the subway. All in all, the only complaint I had was that there was only one key. That meant that the two of us sharing the room had to leave the key at the front desk if we were heading out to do separate activities for the day.

Taking the cable car up to the Seoul Tower is definitely the highlight of my trip!

Amazing price, amazing room!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. Everything that I could ask for and more. The room even had a seperate loft with an extra bed. 140 TV channels, stovetop, washing machine! big refrigerator was great even if it smelled just a bit from underuse and fish storage. This hotel is right in the middle of town too! I think overall one of the best that I have ever been in. Be sure to try this one out. SUPER CHEAP!!!

From Seoul (ICN) airport take the none-stop bus to City Air Terminal for about KWON 13500 and then take the subway to Seoul University station (exit 1) for about KWON 1000 or taxi for about KWON 8000.
