Orlando Airport Marriott

An excellent and comfortble stay.

Overall the Marriott in general has been a stay that I know I can count on. Any Marriott that I have ever stayed in over the years has always been an ecellent and comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable and our veiw in Orlando was wonderful. I recommend this hotel and would be three times more likely to book at the Marriott in any city that I visited. Thanks for a most comfortable stay.

We were not there long enough for tips, but because of airport delays, we did not arrive until after 2am and it was a most comfortable stay.

A wonderful place to stay, can’t wait to go back.

I would recommend this hotel to all my friends with children and without. A variety of restaurants in the area. Not that far from the mall, target, walmart, or the local attractions. There are a bit of activities at the hotel as well.

There is alot for the kids to do if you are traveling w kids.

Best bed I ever sleeped on in my life!

Room and bed were great! Food in the dinning room was Great and the breakfast that was included was very good. Will stay there again!

Poor example of Marriott

Both times I’ve stayed here, my request for a king bed was met by placing me in a handicapped room. The key machine was broken so I had to have someone escort me to my room each time I wanted to get into it. The food service was abysmal. And the wake up calls didn’t work. This hotel is not the typical Marriott (and I stay in them frequently). It is subpar and I wouldn’t recommend it - especially for weary business travellers.

Expensive but what we expected. Our room could of used a stove/oven to make it easier to prepare meals at the hotel.

Older hotel, but well maintained and very friendly staff

The staff was so helpful and while waiting in the lobby for a long period of time for outside trasportation, staff came by talked to us, offered coffee, and assurance that if any problem arrised from our outside transportation, they would help us out.

This is a great hotel. It is five minutes from the airport. The restaurants are excellent. This saved a great deal of stress going for an early morning flight.

Great Hotel and good food

We stayed at this hotel on our return from a cruise; needless to say, our expectations about hotel service were extremely high. Marriott did not disappoint us. It is up there with the best. Great Job!!!

Chicago’s Best Hotel

The hotel was conveniently located close to the airport. It is one of the taller buildings in the immediate area (around 10 floors, I believe) and is kept in nice condition. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side but are extremely comfortable. When we told the front desk that we were staying there on an overnight layover of our honeymoon, the front desk sent fruit and wine to the room. It was a very nice touch.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

It is impossible to save money in Orlando if you are traveling within the city unless you bring your own car. If you stay near the airport, you get a free transfer but must pay high prices to get to and from attractions. If you stay close to the attractions, the airport transfer is quite expensive. If you can, bring your own car!

not impressed

Rom was cleaned and cleaned WELL each day, however it went downhill from there... Checked in @ 5:00ish, when walking to my room there were some room service dishes on the floor by someones door. Went to get some ice after 10:30 or so and the dishes were still there. This was pretty common throughout the week. Walking around the Hotel, there was often garbage laying about on the floors, in planters or outside. Seemed to be enough employees standing about, you’d think one of them would stop and pick some of it up, instead of walking by/ignoring it. Internet use is not included AND expensive. ’Business Center’ was not functioning, had to go hunt down a place to send a simple fax. I made due w/o printing, luckily...

Will Stay Here Again

Our room was the cleanest and most comfortable hotel room I have ever been in. It had a very stylish and updated decor. I can see why there is a book to buy all the furnishings and bedding in the room. You will want to buy it all! Our view of the lake was beautiful. There is a nice walkway outside of the general area. This was very relaxing. Many other places are easy to walk to if you want to explore more. Airport or plane noise was negligible. When heard, it was mild, not irritating.

This is a nice place to stay when going to Disney. It’s a bit of a drive, but the relaxing and beautiful atmosphere of the complex makes it worthwhile. No crowds and traffic! When its time to go home, you’re already close to the airport! Less stress to deal with!

Would be better if i wasn’t a smoker!

Unfortunately I’m a smoker and the Marriott chain of hotels went to all non-smoking. This was nice because of the overall air quality but unlucky for us we were stuck on the 7th floor at the absolutely END of the hallway. The pool was wonderful, the ambiance was nice, we had a terrible experience with room service the first night there however and probably will never order room service anywhere again.

My stay was excellent. The grounds are maintained to the highest standards, the service was outstanding. Prices in the bar and resaurant are typical for tourist/business class(expensive). The room (especially the bed) was extremely comfortable.

We loved the bed and the linens, pillows and room in general. The service in the dining room however was less than satisfactory. Long wait for a meal with only one other couple in the dining room. The food was fine, but the service was not up to Marriott standards.

Very close to airport, easy to find and everything was top notch. Service was excellent. Staff of hotel really seemed dedicated to making sure they did their job properly. Everyone went the extra mile to make sure my stay went as expected. Very good restaurant in hotel as well.
