Confused Front Desk and Large Tour Groups
I arrived at the hotel at around 11:00am, fully aware that my room may not be ready. The taxi driver suggest I check with the front desk to make sure this was the correct hotel. Immediately she said no, I had the incorrect hotel. It took another young man, who had begun digging through the paperwork to find my reservation just prior to me leaving in search of my proper hotel. Huge young American and Japanese tour groups arrived in the afternoon. The bartender assumed I was part of one of the groups, as I’m American, and suggested I eat with the rest of the group in the Dining area, I finally understood what his train of thought was and explained I was independant, he did apologize profusely.

Take a walk to the large mall, past the McDonalds, where there’s a big grocery store inside.

Good option if you fly to Venice
The hotel is nicely decorated, confirtable, clean staff is helpful and cordial. Shopping center and train station are within walking distance. god option if you fly in or out of Venice.

Very good hotel for business travel, but not easy for sight seeing in Venice.
This hotel is extremely clean, new, and modern. The staff was very friendly throughout the visit. It is located in an area that is very similar to a suburb in the United States. Don’t be expecting a quaint, quite, lovely Italian area. I’m not saying they are advertising that, but just be aware. Restaurants within walking distance are chains and not very good. There is a shopping mall about .5 kilometers away. The shuttle service to/from Venice is cheap and reliable. Airport shuttles don’t start early enough if you have a 6am flight.
