Visit to Mesa
Hotel service was punctual and polite. Pool areas were well maintained and very enjoyable. Breakfast was serviceable...nothing to rave about but filling. Room was ordinary but spotless. There was a noisy cricket in our room and the staff were very accommodating about removing it humanely (which was my choice)! The BEST part is the FANTASTIC Italian restaurant next door "IL VENAIO". Absolutely four-star, and it looks like nothing from the exterior. I would stay at this hotel again just to be close to it. I also jogged in the AM and the neighborhood was downtown-ish but safe and cozy. Great location. All in all a good place to stay on the cheap.
