De Wereld Hotel

Hotel De Wereld is probably the best known hotel of the Netherlands as every Dutchman knows it was in this hotel that Prince Bernard and Germany signed the peace treaty in 1945. In the spring of 2004 Hotel De Wereld was transformed back into a picturesque 4 star hotel located at the 5th of May Square in the center of Wageningen close to the town center as well as nature offering a very elegant setting and complete peace. The hotel combines old fashioned sincere hospitality with optimal service. Within walking or biking distance of the hotel are the many beautiful hotspots of Wagenings; Veluwes and Betuwes nature plus culture and art exhibits. On the first and second floor of the hotel are 14 spacious hotel rooms of which 3 are suites with separate living and sleeping chambers. The rooms are decorated tastefully and contemporarily and equipped with many conveniences. The Restaurant O Mundo is situated on the ground floor which has already earned a delicious reputation amongst the gourmand Dutchmen. Furthermore you will find a sandwich bar in the hotel lobby; the closed veranda with a view of the chestnut tree surrounded terrace and the historical halls. Additional information; Children age 3 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 4-12 pay 45 EUR. Children over this age will be considered an adult. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.
