Quiet refuge in Phoenix
I was delighted to stay at Canonview for a week while in Phoenix on business. It seems to be a former condominium now offering short stay accommodations. I had a 1 bedroom apartment -- well furnished (full, regular kitchen: oven, frig, microwave, toaster, the works), clean, quiet, and in good order. The staff were very helpful. Canonview is nestled behind an office complex at the edge of South Mountain Park, pretty isolated from sound and light of Phoenix, so very peaceful. Trails into the park afforded me a good hike/jog every evening. Heated pool and hot tub were nice ways to end my days. Only (minor) annoyance was limited wifi access to Internet in apartment; had to go to lobby to get connected reliably. Didnt encounter any of the complaints of other guests I have seen recorded on websites. I think they have really improved their act in past 6 months. A really nice alternative to staying for a week in a hotel room.

Great place for a family get away
We rented two condos for nine people and we all were very comfortable. It was a nice way to get all of us together in a home away from our homes.
