will go back next year
We had a fabulous time at the Radisson St. Martin. We felt like we were on our own secluded island within an island. The food and drink prices at the hotel were quite high, but the food was excellent. We plan to return next year.
Definitely plan to rent a car or have some form of transportation. Anse Marcel is very small and isolated. There is much to see and do on the whole island.

beautiful vacation spot
The facility was lovely in every way both inside and out! The road going in is like a roller coaster, but once there, it is simply heaven. The people who worked there were all very nice. The food in both restaurants was excellent, although pricey partly due to the devalued state of the dollar. The beach couldnt have been better maintained. It was like a week in paradise and I would return in a minute if I could.
The bridge at Oyster Pond is being rebuilt and traffic was backed up for about 2 hours. We werent sure of the way, and it was dark by the time we actually got to the resort. Was a bit nervewracking. I would go in by the Dutch side and through Marigot instead to avoid the construction.

Extremely impressed!
This hotel is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach, and especially the tremendous and beautiful pool. The hotel staff is very attentive and wonderful, and can recommend wonderful restaurants in the area. Dinner at the hotel is very good, but expensive. The buffet breakfast could be done better. Overall, the stay at this property was delightful, and we look forward to staying here again.
A rental car is a must. Its not a very long trip from the airport, and its mostly a direct route. Otherwise one is mostly restricted to the hotel property. With a car, you are able to travel around the island and see other wonderful sites.
