Great Accomodations on Pensacola Beach

The Emerald Isle is a great place to stay on Pensacola Beach. All rooms face the gulf and the ammenities are top notch. The entrance is a little tough to find, especially after dark, and if your accomodations are on the 17th floor, be sure to ask for the elevator code...access to the top floor is restricted. We found the code in the welcome package afterwards, but there was no indication as to what it was and we played phone tag with management for a while before someone finally advised us. Other than that, we had no complaints whatsoever.

Surprising comfort, surprising weather

Not only was the room surprisingly spacious and the kitchen well equipped, but the weather was surprisingly warm. We were able to swim in both the heated pool and the gulf in OCTOBER. It was a great extended weekend.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you like to cook, bring the groceries and plan to dine in.

Loved it! Right on the beach, Nice and clean and the perfect size for us!

The Condo was nice and clean and we would always see maintenance and cleaning people out doing their jobs. Although we coulda’ used more trash bags for our Condo.

Not South Beach, but still...

I stayed in the corner unit 308 - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, huge living and dining area, fairly modern kitchen, washer and a dryer. View is simply amazing - south, west and north. Glass floor-to-ceiling windows give you 24/7 ocean view. Beach is very clean and water is emerald green.

Traveler's tip

You can buy very nice beach chairs at the Exxon gas station and save yourself $100 ($25, $20, $15, and $10 thereafter) per week if you wanted to rent wooden chairs on the beach. They also go $5/hour or $28/day. You will need a car, because there is not much around. DJ’s across the street serves great breakfast, then there is Subway.

Central location, great room and view.

Large, clean, comfortable rooms. The balcony off of the master bedroom had a great view and fit four people comfortably. We loved having the kitchen to make meals and snacks when not dining out. We had a wonderful stay.

Traveler's tip

Be aware that you need to know how to check yourself in before arriving. This means having security codes to enter the property and hotel (there are no staff members on-site). We arrived late and didn’t know this. Fortunately, we had a phone number to call and a very friendly person helped us out.

Great View!

Emerald Isle was a very place to stay while in Pensacola. The view from the balcony was excellent.

Loved the beach front view from the 15th floor!!!

My family was attending the wedding of a close friend in Pensacola, I checked out several locations online, compared them all looking for a place that offered all of the comfort and feeling of home. I found it with our stay at Emerald Isle.

Great place to stay

As the condo has a kitchen, dinning room and everything you need, you can do your own cooking and not spend money eating outside. The only problem is if you don’t have a car, it’s hard to get to a food store. But the place is great: view on the ocean, looking at the dolphins every morning, etc. You’re right on the beach, and of course there is a swimming pool too. I highly recommend this place.

Paradise on Pensacola Beach from the 10th floor

Our 3 bedroom condo at the Emerald Isle was fantastic. We had a corner unit with floor to ceiling windows looking east down the island and south to the beach and gulf. THe view was amazing from the kitchen,dining room,living room, master bedroom and the balcony. We lived in the kitchen,dining and living rooms, and on the balcony for that view when we were not actually down on the gorgeous white sand beach or in the clear blue gulf!! The bedrooms and baths were very luxurious and tropical. THe furnishings were very glamourous and extremely comfortable. THe location is great, close to the boardwalk and with a gas station/grocery store on the street in front of the property. The kitchen had plenty of dishes so we didn’t have to wash until we loaded the dishwasher upon departure. There were also specialty items in the kitchen like a wine opener and a cheese grater-both of which we needed and were so happy to find. The bath products were very nice and appropriate for the beach theme. THe two pools, hot tub and the beachwalk with shower were welcome respites from the salty gulf and helped us to get the sand and salt off before going back up to the condo. THis was truly paradise inside and outside.

Traveler's tip on dining

We enjoyed shopping at THE MARKET where we could pick up prepared specialty foods and just heat and eat at our convenience without having to actually cook or get dressed each evening to go out to a restaurant. The spinach/artichoke dip and the ribs were our favorites!!! And we always eat at Pappa’s Pizza on the boardwalk where you can build your own pizza.

Great beach location

Our 2bdr condo at Pensacola was beautiful. The kitchen was furnished with everything you might need, and the dinnerware was pretty. Gorgeous views! Very comfortable. Only downside was that there is no on-site desk service. Check-in is awkward, talking into a phone box, with no place to put your purse, etc, while you’re looking up all the info they ask for. Maintenance is also off-site, so communication is tedious. But they did finally abate the stopped-up toilet problem. This is a beautiful place, but I wish they had personel assigned to the building.
