Nice Place
Accomodations were very good. Breakfast was good, especially the waffles. It was conveniently located for our needs. We both grew up in Modesto and Ripon. It is hard to believe there is a motel out where it use to be all country.

I will be back
This was my first time staying at La Quinta in Salida. I have stayed at others in different states and was impressed, which is why I chose to stay here. The rooms were clean and neat, the bathrooms were spotless, all which is VERY important to me. My friend and I loved it. The building itself, from the out side is very beautiful and easy to find! plus great freeway access. It’s also close to the mall, which had great shopping. I will be staying here again next time I visit Modesto.

La Quinta is very close to the mall! I can’t remember the name but if you stay here you will see it. Great shopping, also close to grocery stores, rite aid and Target. The Elephant bar is also close by for great food!

New and pretty good
The Salida La Quinta is new and spacious. The breakfast actually had a few things the health-conscious might eat, and in a minor miracle, the coffee was decent, even good! Three different TV channel guides, none completely accurate, but that’s easily enough figured out. I had to wait for staff every time but once, and often they were out front smoking. Still, a good place.
Traveler's tip on dining
Doc Q’s Barbecue in Modesto is about 5 minutes away and very good with a local feel. Great pulled pork and brisket.
