the views were unbeatable
the hotel was not easy to get to, but once there, it was nice. the room had an amazing view right into the mouth of the little fishing harbour. the room furnishings was from the early 60s. they have a good restaurant and i am sure the breakfast that comes with the room is great, we did not have enough time to enjoy it since we had a very early flight. do not fall for the shuttle they have since it cost you at min. 35 euros. we had a rental car and it was very easy to drive it back to the rental return and catch their shuttle. the hotel is may be 15 min. from the airport. we ate at the restaurant prior night, the food was at best ok, the service was great. for the two of us we had a plate of spagetti with tiny shrimp and a medium size veal schnitzel, followed by two green salads, it was 60 euros. oh i forgot we had a water and 1/2 liter of red wine. so i thought it was pretty steep. the little town of sinisi is lovely and there are plenty other places to eat. i think the proximity of the hotel to the airport is what recomends it. even if you stay there like we did, for the last night.
do not get lost in the mountains!!!!!! stay on main roads. if you are in the mountains get down before dark.

Close to airport
Hotel is a good place to stay for an early flight out of Palermo. Our room was very small and we had to go through the hall of the emergency exit stairway to get to our room.

Not impressed
The hotel and area look great in photos, but real life is quite different. My room was ’cleaned’ 3 out of 4 days. One day they did not clean my room and would not give me clean towels. Toiletries that were supplied were never replenished. The shower was so small it barely had room to turn around. The room also had ants. My luggage did not arrive and the hotel staff offered to sell me a toothbrush and other necessities on my last day.
