Great hotel for the price!
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Los Arcos on a recent trip to Nerja (off season) and found the hotel to be excellent. Unfortunatley the adjoining restaurant was closed for holiday but the hotel bar served a good breakfast and had food for lunch and tapas for dinner. Best of all they had "happy hour" 2 for the price of 1 drinks from 5 - 7 pm daily!
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Check out the "Cave Bar" which is very close to the hotel.

Nice little spot
Los Arcos is a little bit out of the way so if you’re planning to go the caves, be prepared to hoof it because the bus service is not exactly reliable. The hotel itself was maintained pretty well with the exception of some rain drops sneaking into the lobby (it was a pretty bad storm). Rooms are comfortable but nothing spectacular. Their breakfast is pretty good and I would highly recommend it. Staff was courteous and helpful.
Traveler's tip
Having a car seems a bit overkill but a little scooter or just a bike would be perfect to get from the hotel to the main area of town. Otherwise you are stuck with walking, the unreliable bus, or having to take a cab (it’s about 6 or 7 Euros to get to the main part of town).

Nice Nerja Hotel
Los Arcos was a nice hotel, easy to find even though the address was not in our Never Lost system. They offered free parking, a major plus. The attached restaurant offered some of the best food that we experienced in Spain and as a guest of the hotel, we received a free bottle of wine. Room was clean and cute and had a great shower - not true of many places we stayed. It also had an unusual A/C - Heater system that was controled by remote. On a clear day you could see the coast off in the distance. Only bad thing was that the bed was not very comfortable. For a long stay, you might consider some place else.
