very pleasant stay
The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the cruise port, reasonably priced, polite staff. A couple of clubs and bars on the same street. The bar across the street has an interesting and knowledgeable barkeep. The only disappointments were the unsolved lack of a seat on the toilet and an inoperative printer on the free internet that apparently was never going to be fixed. I would definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you can, ride the train to the Pireaus station from the airport for only one Euro. Its only 3 or 4 blocks to the hotel from there, the taxi ride was very expensive. There’s a McDonalds midway between the train station and the hotel.

Strip joint across the street
The strip joint across the street attracted a not so nice group of people. Lots of people noise in the street most of the night. Our non-smoking room came with two ash trays but since there was no carpet on the floor, tile instead, it was tolerable. It was kind of weird that we had to turn our room key in when leaving / exiting the building. I guess given the location that they had to monitor who was using the room.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The yacht port was within walking distance and recommend visiting it. Take in the awesome views from restaurants above the marina.

Minimalistic in Piraeus
Don’t look for any frills if you visit this hotel. Some of the pleasant surprises were that they had free internet in the Lobby and free access to international calls if you had your own calling card. On the downside, the water was turned off for over 24 hours and they would not compensate for the inconvenience.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The hotel is very convenient to the Piraeus pier if you are taking either a ferry or cruise, and you will save bucks over the other hotels in the area.
