What a bargain!
Booking a room in a motel is always a crapshoot. Unless youve stayed there before its chancey, at best & you just never know what youll get. What we tossed at Hampton Inn was: friendly front-desk check-in, nice clean room with a pool view, cable TV with many channels, clean bathroom in which we werent afraid to take a shower, excellent location a short walk to all the Falls action, and convenient FREE parking. The only downside was the continental breakfast attendant was lazy & slow. She was yakking with guests while the coffee & food bins sat empty so I missed my morning coffee & snack. We felt safe walking the streets. Having stayed on the scary Buffalo side of the Falls a few years back & safety is a BIG issue for us. On the rest of our trip from Michigan to the East Coast & back we stayed at eight different motels. Hampton Inn Niagara was the nicest of them all (and among the least expensive).
Traveler's tip on dining
Eat at Antica Italian restaurant located a couple blocks away on the same road as the Hampton (Victoria St). Best pizza you will EVER EAT...bar none. Skip the Casino...VERY unfriendly slots & the place looked dirty as we walked through. Better off throwing your money over the Falls & making a wish.

Clean, comfortable and convenient.
My wife and I have stayed on the Canadian side of the falls many times before, but this was the first time at this Hampton Inn. Check-in was fast, the room was very clean and it was convenient for walking to and from the Falls area and restaurants. One of the big perks was the free parking! Hotels around the Fallsview area charge around $20 to park. It was a good stay, we enjoyed ourselves.

Good Location away from the crowds, but close to the Falls
Our hotel was very close to the Rainbow bridge, allowing easy foot access to the NY falls. We could walk to Clifton Hills and several touristy locations in Canada as well. Breakfast was yummy. The lobby parrots were an unexpected treat.
