Top notch
Great hotel - very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a wonderful buffet breakfast. Centrally located to old town Tallinn. Highly recommended.

Top dollar, but a great place to stay when visiting Tallinns Old Town.
The architects did a most artful job in converting the old telegraph building into a modern, luxurious hotel (on the inside) that seemlessly fits into the Old Town. And one is only a few meters from the town square and all the other attractions. The hotel also features a nice lap pool and sauna and steam rooms and free internet in the room. Unlike many European hotels, the room had an ample number of electrical outlets. What is missing--and would be expected at these rate--is a workout room. When we checked in there was no soap and a lamp was broken. It took repeated calls to get some soap (and then only the tiny bars of the kind one gets in a 1-star Paris joint which had to last for our full three days) and they never did fix the lamp. Otherwise the service was just fine.
Traveler's tip on dining
The food was mediocre at best. Just get an outdoor place on the square or a busy side street and enjoy the atmosphere.
