Excellent staff, very helpful
The hotel is basic, a great inexpensive find in a very good location; it is so close to two metro stops you can get anywhere quickly and to the Champs de Mars for a run in the morning even in the dark. What sets the hotel apart is the wonderful staff. What a delightful group of people, each one was eager to help and while I consider myself low maintenance, anything I asked about they were so happy to help with. I will certainly return.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Swann & Vincente restaurant is a few doors away and it is delightful, small with excellent Italian food. I got the earliest reservation, made by the staff at the hotel and within 15 minutes the place was packed with locals-definitely try it.

Staff are terrific!
This hotel is approximately 20-25 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. The staff are VERY helpful providing information about the area. The room is small but comfortable. The shower is very small. There is a Metro stop a block away from the hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The On and Off Bus tour is VERY convenient. There are 9 stops and you can take the entire trip or get on and off at any of the stops for two consectutive days. Recommend the Oranangerie Museum and Tuleries Gardens and the Rodin Museum and Gardens.At night be sure to see the sparkling lights on the Eiffel Tower for the first five minutes of the hour.

Clean and Great Service but WAY too much traffic noise!
This was a very clean hotel with great service. However, it was VERY loud at night because of all the traffic on the streets outside. I would recommend requesting a room not on the main street--if that is possible.
