Reasonable hotel in shanghai two rooms
It is about a 10 min walk to the subway, but the room had two bedrooms and good air conditioning and a small balcony. Very adequate for two adults, and a reasonable price.

Good accomodations in Shanghai
Hotel was reasonably well located. The price was good. I was able to have Internet access of an additional modest fee.

out of the way and run down
the place is just run down! all glass surfaces looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in years. you have to take a cab to be anywhere remotely interesting (the hotel is located in a kind of low-end suburb). i got food poisoning during my stay and the staff was absolutely unprepared for any emergency situation.

don’t forget to bring anti-diarrhea medicine. a good percentage of travelers to this part of the world need it at some point during their trip.
