Nice little break close to home!
I needed a break and did not want to waste time traveling, so I chose this hotel for an overnight stay to relax with no distractions (I pass it on my way to the club/spa a lot - if you are interested in a full-service health club rather than the hotel fitness center, I think that you can get guess passes at the desk & walk to it). The hotel itself is very nice & staff was friendly. It was not a busy weekend for tourists, so I probably lucked out, as the doors seemed to let the slightest bit of sound in from the hallway (several teens decided to talk in the hall rather than go to the lounge, and even 5 rooms away I could hear them). I did not notice any noise from the parking lot or the surrounding rooms. They have a very relaxed/casual pub-type eating area for dinner. The menu was casual American fare, and my only complaint was the lack of a proper table and chair in which to eat - odd when there is a full eating area right across from the pub (apparently it is only available for breakfast). And just a note, you cannot order room service to be delivered to the room. But you can call and order food to be picked up, I was told. I availed myself of the excellent full breakfast buffet in the morning. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and the room itself was nice. All in all, for the money, this was an excellent little mini-vacation, and I would both stay here again and recommend it to anyone interested in a nice room for the night.
The hotel has a pool and the room had a nice-sized mini-fridge and microwave. If you don’t want to eat out all the time, there’s a nice Co-Op market just across the road for groceries, snacks, prepared foods, and a deli. You can also stock up on snacks rather than use the vending machines in the hotel.

Lousy Drunks
Hotel allowed some lousy drunks to ruin our stay. They drank in the parking lot and then partied well into the night on our floor. This happened on a tuesday night!
