Beautiful comfortable suite

This was our first visit to Napa and we chose Vino Bello since it was one of the few resorts that had 2 bedroom suites. The set-up was very nice. We had a full kitchen, dining area, living room, a master bedroom and a second bedroom with two beds and a second bathroom. It is great for groups since there was a common area to hang out. The elevator was a bit old and smelled a bit which is disappointing for such a resort but other than that we were very happy with our stay.

Great Hotel, Wierd Location

This hotel was very nice. Rooms were comfortable and had all the amenities. Concierge was amazing! Scheduled our entire day including a driver and wineries. Gave nice recomendations for dinner. Very pleasant and happy to help! The location was a little far from heart of Wine country, but only about 15 minutes. Close to Downtown Napa.

Go to V. Sutti!! Great place to get lunch. Amazing deli to grab some cheese, wine, sandwiches and have a picnic.

Stay and Enjoy

You will drive though b business park upon arrival so don’t be fooled when you arrive you will find a top notch hotel with excellent service!

Clean, new place

This hotel was very clean and new, the balcony and view of the pool were nice. The concierge was helpful. Only a few minutes drive to downtown and near the freeways as well. Overall a nice place to stay and visit Napa.

Disappointed the second time!

Visited in spring 2009 and were impressed. Visited again in August 2009 and room was not made up all day until we called, our room was just opposite main building loading dock and was very noisy at 2:00am with loading/unloading of trucks and inconsiderate employees. Not sure we’ll go back!

Highway noise

Room picked up Highway noise - you couldn’t see it, but sure could hear it. Asked for a quiet inside room. I was sent to a room down the hall, but unfortunately was worse as it overlooked hotel receiving dock with loud fans or some type of units running, so stayed in the first room. The room I checked out did have a much fresher smell to it however compared to the room we stayed in. Happy we were there only one night, but since this was a rare get away for my husband and I, it was a little disappointing and not at all what I expected. Restaurant service was great and food was pretty good, though a little pricey.

Restaurant at hotel is nice, food pretty good. It is a nice option to take shuttle into town.

Just Lovely!

Vino Bello met all of our epectations. The girls trip to California with a two night stay At Vino Bello was a highlight of our trip. The one bedroom Condo was Lovely. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. All of us would recommend this as a wonderfully affordable accomodation for young and old alike.

Wonderful Honeymoon

We stayed here for our honeymoon, recommended by friends and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay. it was better than home! we didn’t want to leave and will definately stay again.

Beautiful Hollow hotel

Although our girlfriend weekend stay was nice at Bello Vino, our girlfriends probably wouldn’t come back. It didn’t feel like a resort - more like several separate buildings that weren’t connected. It was beautiful on the outside but felt hollow on the inside. One evening we opted to stay in. We ordered a cheese platter and a margherita pizza with drinks. The mojitos were marginal, the cheese on the platter was hardly edible and the pizza tasted like it was a frozen brand that I frequently buy at the grocery store. One morning we just wanted a cup of coffee and sit and visit but there wasn’t anywhere to do this unless we opted to the go to the restaurant and pay the full buffet price. Our hostess was outstanding and offered us a platter of coffee and tea and we drank right outside the restaurant lobby. Not the most relaxing place to have coffee since it was chilly outside. The winery and spa on site is magnificent but the walking trail was confusing. We felt like we were walking on a construction site and there was not much of a walking trail like stated on their website.

Great hotel, conveniently located

Stayed in the 1 bedroom condo and absolutely loved it. Very spacious and nicely appointed with spa. The staff really made the hotel with very helpful, friendly service. Would definitely go back.

Relaxing in wine country

Vino Bello was great. We had stayed previously at this resort, so we knew what kind f quality to expect - this time our room was less then perfect (minor problems) - when we mentioned this to the front desk - we were relocated to an outstanding room. Very relaxing resort!

Good Location - Still under construction

Nice hotel/timeshare in a good location just south of Napa, so it’s easy to get around. Room was great but beware of construction (and lack of any decent view but a half finished buildig) for the next 6 or so months. Hotel staff were nice/friendly and did not push the ’timeshare option’ very hard.

Traveler's tip on dining

Auberge du Soleil is a very good resturant overlooking northern Napa Valley. Very expensive for most people but the meal/service are outstanding and we felt it was worth the splurge. Budget $300 and enjoy.

Wonderful hotel

The hotel staff was very professional and helpful. The room was exceptional! We stayed in a one bedroom suite so there were cooking facilities and laundry. Loved having a private deck off the living room.

Fanatastic Stay

The resort was fantastic! We stayed in the one bedroom condo and it was beautiful. It was in a great central location to Napa and Sonoma. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

The hotel was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. It had everything you possibly needed.

Nice Hotel, Was given alternate room due to overbooking on first night of stay

Hotel location, room and amenities were excellent. Only downside was that the King Suite we had booked through Expedia was not available the first night due to the hotel having overbooked for New Years Eve. We were given a standard double room for the first night, even though we had paid for the King Suite. Were given free breakfast for two days of the stay to compensate. Moved to the King Suite on the second night at our request.

Vino Bella Napa Find

We stayed at Vino Bella for the first time this stay. Typically we stay at one of the nicer places further north in Napa valley. This is a very nice property. We loved having the kitchenette. The reservation said there woul dbe a free bottle of wine. Be sure to bring what You like, unless you are a Rose’ fan.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We stopped at Trader Joe’s in Napa and picked up a few food items, which made the stay nice. This is on the southern end of Napa, so a little more driving to get to the wineries, but nice enought that it was worth it.

Delightful

This is a classic Tuscan style design, with vineyards all around. Convenient location. Unique room, very comfortable and a refreshing change from the ordinary with a built in mini kitchen (granite countertops). Great for bringing back a bottle of wine and having dinner in your room.

Would definately go back

Rooms were large, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Free bottled water/soda/wine in the refrigerator in the room. One of the nicest surprises was a free shuttle service door to door each night between 5:30 - 11 to downtown Napa from the hotel. You are only 15-20 minutes from Sonoma, 15-20 minutes from Yountville and surrounding wineries. Close to everything.

Perfect place to stay in Napa

Lovely views, unique spa and tasting room under the vineyard. Comfortable rooms, convenient and excellant restaurant on the grounds. Top service.

Great place to stay!! Nice spa even thou we didn’t have time to use it. All staff were helpful.

They will ship your wine purchases to your house for a fee. My daughter and I would definitely stay here again. Nice pool area and great restaurant. PS: We also recommend the balloon ride over Napa ...amazing!!!

It was a nice stay

The hotel was very nice, my wife and i were celebrating our one year anniversary and we felt this hotel was great. The rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful and nice. The resort is part of some time share company so you may get roped into a timeshare sales pitch; if your willing to listen to the pitch you could get some free goodies. The hotel is right at the entrance of Napa Valley so it was a quick drive to get where ever we needed.

nice personal condo

The place was really nice. It felt like your own vacation condo. Washer/dryer, fridge, free bottle of wine, complementary soda and water, flat screen Tv’s spa bath...the place had everything. Chilling on the balcony was cool to. More then enough room for a couple. Only down side, the pressure for the shower wasnt super strong, but was still quite nice.

Best Hotel Stay EVER!!

Everything was great! I have never had a more pleasant stay at any other hotel, anywhere! Top notch rooms that were gorgeous and the quality of the rooms is outstanding! We had the 1-bedroom suite with Granite countertops, Jacuzzi tub, double walk-in shower w/5 shower heads, ceramic floor, fireplace w/remote, flat screen TVs, stainless steel appliances including full fridge and dishwasher. Every day the hotel staff were nice and friendly, the rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. I cannot say anything bad about my stay. The location is a little South of everything, but if you rent a car, it is only 5-10 minutes to get anywhere. I would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends!

I noticed when visting the wineries for tastings, if you ask them where else to go, many of them will recommend other wineries with the best wine and actually give you directions on how to get there. A great restaurant to check out is Julia’s Kitchen at the COPIA. It was the best meal the whole trip, and the service was Excellent! Ask the locals their favorite restaurants to dine at as well.

Luxurious Comfort in Napa

I can’t imagine a more comfortable or luxurious stay. Not inexpensive, but a great value. Friendly and attentive staff, eager to please. Highly recommended.

The Del Dotto Winery in Napa is an excellent wine tasting value and just 10 minutes away. Reservations are usually necessary, but we dropped-in and got lucky.
