Not Impressed by location
The hotel was not easy to find. We spent about an hour finding the hotel. We got off of Hwy A6 and asked around 5 places to get directions to the village of Lissieu. Some of them shook thier heads and doid not know where the village was. I am glad my daughter speaks French. The village was not mentioned on the roadmap and was not on any of the road markers leading from A6 to N6 to Lisseu. The street to get to the hotel is not marked well either once you get into town. It seems that this Hotel is deperate for customers and put its name into several search services such as Expedia’s (this wan’t the only place we found it listed). Becasue we found it listed in multiple places we figured it was a good choice. There were very few other guests stayng at this very new hotel/apartment accomodation. We went into Lyon that night and when we came back we got lost again and drove around for over an hour trying to find the village/hotel. Once you are in the village, if you miss your exit, it takes a long drive to find a turnaround. The Internet map and directions provided by the hotel are no help.
