Weekend Mountain Getaway
It seems that the last two years the Holiday Inn Hotels were being refurbished and worked on which is not a bad thing. The two or three hotels we stayed in were being worked on. The heated pool was very chilly and the elevator did not work,other than that is was fine.

Don’t Stay Here Now
I stayed three nights, but would have moved had I not already paid Expedia and did not want to go through that hassle. However the staff and owner are helpful and nice. Hotel is apparently under new ownership and is definitely going through extensive renovations as I write this. If you have any allegies to chemical outgasing of paint, carpet, certain adhesives, etc. you should not stay at this hotel until the outgasing is gone. It has strong smells and gave me a mild headach (I believe) that I felt when I awoke each morning. Despite the outgasing, which did not bother me anymore than to cause a mild headache, the reason for my personal dissatisfaction has to do with the wireless internet not working properly. It worked for me sometimes but mostly not. I complained but nothing improved. I called the help line and received courteous and expert help but to no avail. The "expert" finally concluded that something was wrong with the signal at the hotel. I even took my computer to a computer shop only to be told it was not my computer’s fault. If you decide to stay here anyway (and no reason not to if you do not have allegies that will make you miserable) the internet signal might be working by now. The owner told me that he would have the directions, etc. of the signals reset.
