Good if you want to be close but not too close to downtown.
My friends and I went there for a 49er’s game. Candlestick was 5 minute away. the downtown area was about 10 minutes away. Everything from there like Chinatown and Fishermans Wharf is max ten minutes away. The bridge isn’t too far either I would say 15-20 minutes. The service was good and we’re the cleanest people. We stayed for 2 nights. We even left cash on top of the television to see if the maids were honest and they were. Overall good stay if you only want to sleep and wake up there.

Convenient, very helpful desk agent, but terrible air
First the pluses: Very nice agent who resolved an Expedia reservation problem to our satisfaction; super conveniently located (short drive to SF); had just what we needed to stop, sleep & go. Minuses: The smell of the air in the room was terrible. It was as if we were breathing the exhalations of all the guests in the hotel from the entire day. I don’t know how the ventilation works, but it was not a pleasant experience.
