Nice clean hotel
The hotel was clean, the staff was accomodating, liked the full breakfast much better then the continental breakfast most hotels serve. The only issue was that the hotel desk would not give me a receipt, they said because I had booked it through Expedia.

Good Location
We had the king room w/in room conviences and that worked very well for our extended stay. We spent 5 days in the area and found that staying in Rapid City provided a central location for each day’s site seeing. The continental breakfast allowed us to enjoy a good meal each morning before we left for a very long day of activities.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There are not the tourist trappings around this hotel. It has several good restaurants & shopping close by. We found that it was in a good location for us as we visited Mt Rushmore,Crazy Horse, Badlands, Devils Tower, Custer Park, and the Air Base & Journey Museums. Lots to do and see.

Great Holiday Inn Experience.
We found the hotel and rooms to be very clean, nicely decorated. The bed was a bit soft but to each their own. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions, events and such. The continental breakfast was outstanding!! To our surprise it included egg/cheese omelets, bacon, biscuits & gravy and much more. Dennys did not have anything on the Holiday Inn breakfast. If you are visiting Rapid City we highly recommend staying here, located close to the airport and right of interstate 90. Nice dinner restaurants in close proximity. What more can one ask for?

Lots of nice area attractions. In town, Presidents walk, Thursday night street festivals, Western dinner shows. Surrounding,... Wall Drugs, Badlands, MT. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Sturges, Devils Tower and more.
