Motel in front
there seems to be an old H.I. motel in front of the Wingate that makes one pause to think, do i want to stay here?

not impressed
Poor customer service. My buddy was locked out of his room for 2 hours. Little sense of urgency to rectify. My room had several broken fixtures. Continental breakfast was skimpy. Hot tub not in service.

Ice House was a good spot for dinner (downtown Madison). Good bar and entertainment.
