Shooting gallery at the Days Inn
Can’t complain about the rate and location convenient to everything. Overnight , hotel patrons used paintball guns and egg plants from the balcony to assault many vehicles in the parking lot on the East side facing the bank. Fortunately ours was untouched and out of range but many others were not. The room was clean but aged. Did not try the breakfast. Afternoon lady at the desk 6/26/08 was very nice and kind and presented a great 1st impression.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
The Metra rail line is a perfect low cost way to travel anywhere and the station is 5 minutes away.

staff not responsive, room rundown
Hotel Review: For its price, in that area, I dont expect luxury, but something clean and neat. The rooms were run-down (grout peeling in bathroom sink, door flimsy). The coffee machine was broken, and even though I mentioned it, they didnt fix it. There was no soap in the bathroom, I had to go down to the reception to get it. The "free breakfast" was stale muffins, and I didnt’ find any juice.
