Exactly what I wanted
I needed a room for a late night stopover on a long drive. The hotel was a good value, convenient to the freeway without being next to it, and the staff was friendly & efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable. My wife even forgot an item at the hotel. The staff was able to locate it and forward it to me. I’ll definitely use this hotel again.

Ellensburg Gem
The hotel staff was professional and courteous. The breakfasts were excellent, The room was clean and well maintained.

Don’t expect a hotel near the Gorge to be quiet
Initially I thought the hotel was great. The lobby is clean and the check-in was quick and pleasant. The pool looked ok, but the paint on the floor around it was peeling and the water wasn’t very clean. When it came to sleeping it all went downhill. There seemed to be parties above us and on each side of us right around the same time people were getting back from the Gorge. My pillow was chunky instead of soft and fluffy.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Gorge is about 40 miles east of this hotel. You’ll be able to get a bite to eat at one of the many fast food joints or gas stations near the hotel after the concert. Just don’t expect to sleep much from other hotel guest noise.
