Perfect Vacation
My husband and I just got back we were there the last two weeks in Oct 2009. All the staff was great. The buffet restrauant El Pajarito the food and the staff are excellent. The beach and ocean was fabulous the longest and the wides we have everbeen on and we have been on alot of beaches. The resort had a very large bus that went to Playa Del Carmen twice a day (no charge). The staff on the beach just could not do enough for us. The weather was hot and humid but it was great. Perfect vacation.
E-mail the hotel to have a taxi pick you up at the airport the resort will do this for you and you will be happy that you won’t have to deal with taxi’s and such at the airport.

Can’t wait to go back
Catalonia Playa Maroma Hotel was the best place to stay. I went with two other couples and we all had the best time. Amazing, unforgettable, incredible. The most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The water is so clear you can see the white fish swimming around your feet. There is always a chair to sit at in the sun or in the shade. A bar is located at the top of the beach where you can get drinks and there is always friendly staff walking around to get you drinks! This resort has 4 restaurants that you can go to. The lobster dinner at "La Palapa" is amazing! You have to pay for this dinner but is worth it!! The buffet is great! It’s not what you’re thinking, they have everything. We eat in a different restaurant each night. The buffet is not ACd because it’s completely open to the outside. That was really nice to eat while being surrounded by nature. The "Animation" staff is an amazing bunch, led by Valentina with her big raspy voice and smile. "Felicidades" to the whole group!!!! We had a small issue with a room but the Concierge staff looked after us immediately. The rooms were nice and clean. The price was amazing. Go here if you love Riviera Maya. Go here if you want that peach paradise feel without the price. Go here if you love to relax and have a great time! It’s so worth it, you will love it. Bye, bye Cancun, Hello Riviera Maya!!!!!!

Absolutely AMAZING! and will definitely go back
This hotel the best I’ve ever stayed at- all the employees were wonderful & very accommodating.The food was excellent and always had a variety to choose from. Always fresh with excellent service from the employees at all the restaurants. The entire hotel and grounds including the beach & pool were very well maintained and clean! It is an absolutely beautiful hotel with gorgeous surroundings and exceptionally well staffed. From the minute you check in at the front lobby till the minute you check out of your immaculate room. Best vacation ever!
