Nautical Room!
This place is definitely special! From the moment you meet inn keepers Nancy and Richard, to the time you check in to your room, to breakfast to check out, you’ll feel very much at home! The hosts were great, the breakfast delicious and filling, the place (and our room) fabulous! Not a hint of pretense, but overflowing w/ personality! We’ll definitely stay here again if we make it out that way in the future! Ask for the Nautical Room! :)
Traveler's tip on local attractions
North Coast Brewery - 2 blocks down, very good food and great beer!, Mendo’s - 3 blocks down, great dinner place. Walk through their quaint downtown, go to the small side streets, you’ll find a great cafe (w/ music @ night) and Italian restaurant next door. Drive out about 8 miles to Pt. Cabrillo Lighthouse for a bit of history, or into Mendocino for wineries and breweries. Glass beach is a short 4 block walk as well if you want to go check out the tide pool!
