don’t stay here
This hostel was pretty gross... smelled weird, there was a stain on my sheets and they don’t provide towels.. unless you want to pay $15 for them. Would never come back.

Exactly What I Was Expecting
This is exactly what a hostel should be - a combination of accommodation in a really good location. I’m a bit older and wasn’t into the bar or games scene, so I got myself a private room with shared bathroom. The room was really quiet - located in a cluster of three rooms that shared a kitchen and bathroom - though the bathrooms were a bit grotty. I could choose to use WiFi or watch TV in the common room or chill all by myself in my very clean room. There is great nightlife all around, the staff is really friendly and they have a great travel section. It did make me feel a bit old being there... but hey, that’s my problem not theirs!
Traveler's tip on shopping
Hop on the green Link buses and go to Broadway. This is one long street of great shopping and restaurants. You’ll find everything you want here. And the Link picks you up right by the hotel at Britomart.
