Patrick Punchs
While the hotel was fine, it’s location is a long 20-30 minute walk into center city Limerick. Buses run by, but stop by 11 p.m. or so. There are few dining options nearby other than the hotel’s own restaurant and a Chinese restaurant across the street.

No nightlife here. Stay in the center of town for that. This hotel is in a residential, suburban area.

i am returning
it was a good place to stay after arriving at shannon airport. my only complaint was one very dumb and unpleasant person at the front desk. the room is very,very nice with amazing room darkening window shades. quiet and comfortable. it is well located outside the city center but a short bus ride away. there is a great little mini shopping center across the street.

Great Comfort & Location for Great Price
Patrick Punches is about the nicest, cheapest and easiest hotel for flying in/out of Shannon Airport (20 mins away). The hotel is modern and farily new. It was the nicest of our stay. However, the food in the dining room was by far the worst of our entire trip (including Kenya). Who knows what those cooks were trying to make, certainly not cuisine, and especially not at the prices they were charging. Weird stuff! But a 5 minute drive away is a pub with a menu, we were told. Stay at the hotel, eat somewhere else.
