South Bend’s Slumotel
We just needed two clean, simple rooms for the night. This place is run down, filthy dirty. The first room they gave us still had occupants, so they put us in a different room. Bathroom was disgusting. Since we already paid in advance through Expedia, we slept in our clothes and waited until we got home the next day to shower. If it wasn’t so hot, I would have slept in my car. I would never stay in this hotel again. However it was conveniently located next to a Pizza King.

Scary, lady behind desk strange
For a town with all the activities that Notre Dame has. I would think that this Howard Johnson would be at the top of the heap since it is convenient but is really run down and needs alot of new things. No one was there!!

Most disgusting place I have ever stayed!
I was extremely disgusted with this hotel. I knew that for a low price the room wouldn’t be that great but I never expected dead bugs in the bed and corners of the floor and hair in the tub (like it hadn’t been cleaned). Even the blanket had yellow stains on it! Most disgusting, horrible place I have ever seen. I would have been better off sleeping my car.
