Always enjoy our stay at Vista Vallarta
This is about our tenth time staying at the Vista Vallarta. The swimming pool was being renovated and there was no water at the time of my visit, but it was filled up just before we left. The management was good enough to call and let us know in advance about the pool. Others complain about the hard beds but this is how it is in Mexico, even at other hotels. We enjoy staying at Vista Vallarta because it is reasonable, close to the little village of Bucerias, and a good starting point for day trips. The staff is courteous and Chuy in the restaurant and Artemio in the bar are getting to be like kin.
The month of October until Nov. 15 is slow season so you almost have the place to yourself.

Making Plans for Returning at Thanksgiving
What a great place for families! This hotel has everything you need. A fully equiped kitchen, spacious rooms,and wonderful views of the ocean.

Nice People
Good location on the beach with good views but a long way from PV. You can walk down the beach to the town which is nice with lots of good eating places. Rather close to the road so some road noise in the morning and a lot of sound from the waves on the beach. The hotel is rather old and shabby but the rooms have a great view and are huge, 3 large beds, kitchen, 3 bathrooms etc. The pool is nice, good free wireless internet and not many guests (mainly mexican families). The best thing is the people, they are helpful and friendly and really try to make your stay enjoyable.
