Really comfortable hotel
This hotel is situated outside the old city of Dubrovnik but is however in a very nice neighbourhood within walking distance to the beach. There are also a few nice, but expensive, restaurants in the nearby vicinity. Even though it the hotel is quite a distance from the old city, there is a regular bus that passes the hotel going to the city, which makes it very accessable. The busstop is right outside the hotel.

Set aside a whole day to visit the old city of Dubrovnik because there is a lot to see and worthwhile seeing.

very comfortable hotel
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Uvala. The front desk and restaurant staff treated us in a first class manner. The location of the hotel was great as we had a great view of Lapad Bay from our room. The bus was very accessible to the Old City of Dubrovnik. It truly was a great vacation on many levels.

Oasis of calm
We got to the Hotel Uvala after over a week in much less nice hotels around Croatia and found this place clean, beds firm, great restaurant, beautiful views, efficient service, and a real treat.
